Reinsurance Billing & Collection System
The pictures on the left represent actual screen images of a working system. Each can be enhanced by rolling your mouse over the image. This area will be replaced with a larger view of that screen with explanation.
Let's face it, if you are still reading this, you are either another database developer or someone who recognizes we know what we are doing.

Selection Criteria Screen
Your data doesn't help you if you can't find what you're looking for, when you need it. A screen like this enables you to search for your data by inputting criteria into any combination of fields. The more fields in which you put a criteria, the more specific your search becomes.
A list of all the records (claims)
that match the search criteria
Once your search returns the matching records, you then need an easy way of finding the one specific record you're looking for. A form like this form with a grid on it shows you all the records at a glance so you can choose the one record you're looking for
The Data for the Record (Claim) You
Wanted
Once you've found the record you were looking for, you then need to be able to view and/or edit the data for that record. Sometimes there's so much data associated with one record that you break it into logical divider tabs like this form does.
One of the Divider Tabs Showing Specific
Data About the
Claimant(s) on this claim
For any given claim, there might be more than one claimant. Handling multiple sub records is easy with a form like this
A Second Divider Tab Showing Specific Data
About the Reinsurance Contract(s) that Cover this Claim.
Reinsurance is a complicated business, but a system that shows you the reinsurance contracts that could apply to your claim and then allows the user to make claim by claim decisions provides for a very flexible way of handling something that would otherwise be a daunting task. This form even allows for the specific calculations of any given contract to be manually overridden for those rare "exceptions to the rule" that always seem to occur.
Generating Reports
Your data doesn't do you much good if you can't look at it sliced, diced and summed the way you want it. Reports and data extracts are the whole reason you have a database. Our systems allow you to preview, print, create a PDF output, create an HTML output, create a text file output, and even extract your data into one of several other formats such as Excel and Lotus.
Report Preview
For those of you who previously thought management of your data was a pretty boring thing. This screen shot, one page of a previewed report should confirm it.
